1. Overview
Sewzo Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Sewzo”) is a custom stitching marketplace. Outfits are made to your measurements and design, so refunds depend on how far the order has progressed. This policy explains when you can cancel, when money is returned, and how alterations work.
Questions? Write to support@sewzo.com or open Help in the Sewzo app.
2. Before you pay
You can cancel a design request or order at any time before you pay the advance. There is no charge.
3. After the advance, before stitching starts
If you cancel after paying the 50% advance but the boutique has not started stitching, Sewzo issues a full refund of the amount paid. The refund goes back to the original payment method through Razorpay.
4. After stitching has started
Once fabric is cut or stitching has begun, the order is custom work. Refunds are then decided case by case by the Sewzo team, taking into account:
- Fabric already purchased or cut
- Labour already completed
- Whether the outfit can still be finished for you
We may offer a partial refund, or send you the purchased material instead of a cash refund. Any deduction is explained before the refund is processed.
5. Fit, finishing, and quality
Fit issues, finishing problems, and stitching errors are corrected free of charge. The first fit alteration after delivery is free when you report it within the alteration window shown on your order.
Further alterations, or changes you request to the design after work has started, may be chargeable. If you are still not satisfied after the complimentary alteration, contact Sewzo. We will review the order and may offer a further fix or a refund.
6. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are processed through Razorpay to the original UPI, card, or net-banking method. When an admin marks the order as refunded, that status appears on your order timeline. Bank or UPI credit times depend on your payment provider and are usually a few business days.
We do not offer cash on delivery, and we do not refund in cash.
7. What is not refundable
- Change of mind after you have approved the finished outfit and it has been delivered, unless there is a quality issue we cannot resolve
- Delays caused by incorrect measurements, missing approvals, or late replies from your side
- Chargeable design changes or material upgrades you requested after work began
8. How to request a cancellation or refund
Open the order in your Sewzo account and contact support from Help, or email support@sewzo.com with your order number. A Sewzo coordinator will confirm the order stage and the amount, if any, that can be returned.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as Sewzo grows. The “last updated” date on this page will change when we do.
